On the 19th and 20th of April, 2016 the four German National Agencies for Erasmus+ hosted in Essen (DE) the Transnational Cooperation Activity (TCA) conference “Education, Participation, Integration: Erasmus+ and Refugees". The conference was attended by over 300 participants from all the education sectors and Youth Work. The TCA offered networking opportunities to selected organizations conducting innovative projects and stakeholders from all over the EU.
During the conference, a Project Market was organised, where Daiva Malinauskiene provided all interested participants with the detailed information on different projects implemented by SIH. The projects such as LeaCoMM, SMILE, Take Care, Integra, and ePublisher have attracted great interest form those working in the area of diversity within education and teacher training.
On the 15th of April the Annual Membership Meeting of the Lithuanian Association of Adult Education (LAAE) took place at the Mykolas Riomeris University in Vilnius (LT).
On 8th April SIH held a poetry reading at Medardas Čobotas Third Age University (MCTAU). The meeting has brought together a large group of Literature students as well as members of Book Lovers’ Club at MCTAU.
On the 8th April 2016, the Municipal Public Library in Lousada opened the exhibition "Rota do Românico – Caminhos de Encanto", which combines poetry and photography, a perfect harmony between the eye of the photographer and the feeling of the poet.
On the 7th April 2016, the Municipal Public Library in Lousada organised a new book presentation event of João Pedro Mésseder.
The second consortium meeting was held on 15-16 March in Krakow (PL).
