On Sunday, the 7th of October TKKY organized the poetry event in Turku.
At the beginning of the event, all participants wished a happy birthday to the poet Andrei Karpin.Then the poet read some of his poems. After that the participants were invited to write their own poems in small groups. They all enjoyed the collaborative writing, and read their collaborative poems to other participants.
Later the poet Irina Hvalovskaja read her own poems and sang songs based on her poems. Then Tatiana Kivinen and Larissa Erikson read their own poems.
The event was a great success, the participants enjoyed it very much.
On a rainy morning of the 7th of October, a large group of the most active participants of the ePublisher project – poets, translators and lovers of the poetry, went on an exciting trip to the poetic Kaunas, the 2nd largest Lithuania’s city, resting at the confluence of country’s two largest rivers, Neris and Nemunas.
The third consortium meeting was held on 26-27 September in Turku (FI).
The traditional membership event of the Lithuanian Association of Adult Education was held in Rumsiskes (LT) on 10-11 September 2016.
On Sunday, the 11th of September, TKKY organized an excursion to Helsinki. The participants visited the places of great Finnish poets such as Johan Ludvig Runeberg, Aleksis Kivi, Elias Lönnrot and Eino Leino.
