'Poetry Spring' is an international poetry festival and the most outstanding yearly literature event in Lithuania organized by Lithuania Writers Union. At this festival poets from Lithuania and foreign countries read their verses, the festival also involves actors, singers, musicians and artists. The festival is being held every year since 1965. On the eve of the festival an almanac 'Poetry Spring' with new verses, poety translations and essays on literature is issued.
This year 'Poetry Spring' is being held on 13-27th of May. All the events are free and open to the public.

On 17-18 May 2018, Soros International House director Daiva Malinauskiene participated in XVI annual Baltic Sea NGO Forum in Uppsala, Sweden. This years Forum was dedicated to Strengthen NGO participation in the Baltic Sea Region.
On May the 12th, 2018, the Oliwa Day of Poetry took place. Along the lanes of the Oliwa Park 460 boards with "Poetic Laundry" were hung on. They were poems by poets from Gdansk, Gdynia, Sopot and the surrounding area, as well as from other parts of Poland and abroad.
On 3-4 May 2018 the 2nd partner meeting of Erasmus+ project Parents for All was organized in Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania. During the meeting partners from Greece, Italy, Scotland, Spain, Germany and Lithuania discussed main issues of the project implementation.
The Gdansk Poets' Club (Gdański Klub Poetów) is a team of people who share love for poetry. It includes well known writers as well as beginning artists from Poland and abroad. Quite a few of them such as Agnieszka Smugla are active members of ePublisher community.
