I walked in the town
In middle of history
Splitted by that brown
River like coffee
what they call it Aura

Here in Turku books and schools are like in Lithuania

kai nebuvo tavęs - o kas tada buvo?

Turku has an interesting botanic garden.
the library is also amazing but the goes here is google

Can you hear pigs barking?
People in the city are nice but they don't read enough books
It's interesting to see many cultures in the city
I wish you more sunny days in the year
I love to dance in the rain at night
I'm flexible like a snake
The river is ugly and so am !

and it's Turku, it's like the cloud big
or no, it is like a pig
People here are not in a hurry
Days are long as a snake
The colour of the river here in Turku is ugly
But I don'r feel me here badly
I liked the pancakes and
was impressed of the big square

Poetry workshop 7.4.2017



First step:

Write something about Turku: your impressions; what have you seen or what you think about Turku
-five full sentences
-fresh images
-don't be too polite
-you can use english or your own language


Second step:

Group toget; 3-4 poets in each group, participants from different countries in each group
-use the sentences you made in first step and complete a poem out of them
-don't use every sentence, choose something
-there should be words and sentences in different languages
-choose three words of these: pig(s), ugly, ship, snake, mobile, book, election, square, school, stone
-not more than 10 lines






Third step:

Translate together this poem in english. Keep some word that are from other languages than english

Read this for audience.
