I have lost my identity.
        It was taken away.
                    No privileged class here.
What choices do I have?
            The decisions are made.
                        Politics are packaged.
I’m one in the masses.
            Where politicians solicit votes.
                        When elected, they go away.
I am promised the world.
            But this never rings true.
                        So much for my identity.
