The Stream in the Meadow
Year of Creation: 2018 | Published: 2018-05-04 | Theme: Environment and Love

Morning coolness has all but disappeared as
we repose here on the stream’s bank.
Reflections from the ripples appear like
diamonds I could never afford.

Together, we are mesmerized by the sound
of water cascading over nearby rocks.
A slight breeze comes up and rustling  leaves
of the willows send forth subtle messages.

Sunlight dancing through your hair likens
to gossamer threads of gold.
I now delight in your moist lips and gentle
caresses.

Let this stream that binds us be the
inspiration for our love.
Quietly flowing throughout the years
toward eternity.
