The 65th Stratford-upon-Avon Poetry Festival celebrates the best local and international talent. From open mics and hands-on workshops to performances from world renowned artists.

Meetings with authors, poems reading, discussions and debates – on 7-10 June Krakow, for the seventh time, will become the world capital of poetry. Miłosz Festival 2018 will be an opportunity to meet prominent Polish authors, such as Marek Krystian Emanuel Baczewski, Marzanna Bogumiła Kielar, Marcin Baran and Urszula Kozioł, as well as foreign guests, including Jane Hirshfield and Ron Padgett (USA), Eugenijus Ališanka (Lithuania), Katja Gorečan (Slovenia), Stepanova (Russia) and Olvido García Valdés (Spain). Artistic director of the festival is poet and literary critic Krzysztof Siwczyk.
'Poetry Spring' - an international poetry festival and the most outstanding yearly literature event in Lithuania organized by Lithuania Writers Union. At this festival poets from Lithuania and foreign countries read their verses, the festival also involves actors, singers, musicians and artists. The festival is being held every year since 1965. On the eve of the festival an almanac 'Poetry Spring' with new verses, poety translations and essays on literature is issued.
UNESCO first adopted 21 March as World Poetry Day during its 30th General Conference in Paris in 1999, with the aim of supporting linguistic diversity through poetic expression and increasing the opportunity for endangered languages to be heard.
The International Poetry Festival in Lousada will take place on the 6-7th of June 2017.
In June 2017, the project partners will meet in Losada for the final project meeting.
The International Poetry Festival in Vilnius will take place on the 12-13th of May 2017.
The International Poetry Festival in Turku will take place on the 7-8th of April 2017.
The International Poetry Festival in Krakow is planned to be held on the 18-19th of March 2017.

SIH director D.Malinauskiene will hold a press conference to announce the opening of the ePublisher poetry projections on the LED display of the National Gallery of Art.
The conference will take place on Tuesday, 15th November at 11.00 AM in the National Gallery of Art.
