Milosz Biedrzycki
Poet's Self Presentation

Born in 1967 in Koper (Slovenia). Poet, translator, geophysical engineer. Graduated from University of Mining and Metallurgy in Krakow (Poland).

Signs his books with an easily deciphered pen name, MLB. Considered a part of "brulion generation", i.e. a group of writers gathered around the influential "brulion" magazine, published in 1986-1999 (other writers in this circle included Marcin Świetlicki, Jacek Podsiadło, Marcin Sendecki and Grzegorz Wróblewski). Biedrzycki was awarded the Brulion Poetry Award in 1993. His poetry books were published in Poland, Slovenia and USA. As translator, his work includes poems of Tomaž Šalamun and Jorie Graham."
